2) Saturday, October 10: Go Soiree Registration
If you are coming to the go soiree at my home on Saturday, October 10- from noon-5 p.m. (pizza and drinks at 5 p.m. for those who want to linger and socialize), please register for free or get the address and directions at
goclubs.org
so I know how many go sets, pizzas and drinks to have ready.
Everything is free. Spectators and all level of players are welcome.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) SDGC web site
Thanks to Peggy Yang for organizing a San Diego Go Club web site:
http://sdgoclub.weebly.com
The site is under construction, so if you find a problem or want a feature added, please let me know.

4) Update on Cotsen Tournament: Register as Orange County
Registration for the Cotsen Go Tournament in Los Angeles, October 24&25 is open.
http://cotsenopen.com/new-reg-form.php
Again this year, I am encouraging SDGC members who will be playing to register as Orange County players.
This is fine with the Cotsen Tournament.
The best club wins $1,000. OCGC has used that money to sponsor a successful go tournament over the years.
Kevin Chao is president of the OCGC and has supported our club (you can reach him at kevingochao [at] gmail [dot] com )

5) Third Sundays at Chinese Bookstore
The club continued its third-Sunday-of-the-month event at the Chinese bookstore. Club member Henry You, 5-dan, joined the group which met from 2-5 p.m. See attachment for picture. Next gathering, Sunday, October 18. There seems to be interest in having go lessons for children once a week at the store.
